New Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Mobile Reply

The Microsoft Dynamics CRM Q2 21012 service update brings a new cloud based mobile CRM service called Microsoft Dynamics CRM Mobile to customers of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

As part of this new mobile solution, Microsoft will provide a full range of rich native CRM applications (apps) for the most popular smartphones and tablets.

These new applications allow a sales, service or marketing professional to access Microsoft Dynamics CRM both Online and On-premises. These apps allow organizations and individuals to be productive with their device of choice thereby enabling them to manage customer relationships anywhere.

It is common for sales, service and marketing professionals to use a variety of devices e.g. a sales person might have both a phone and a tablet device from which they need to access their CRM data and processes. With Microsoft Dynamics CRM Mobile, each licensed mobile user can access Microsoft Dynamics CRM from up to three different mobile devices.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM Mobile will also offer an offline mode on most devices* so that Microsoft Dynamics CRM can be accessed even when there is lack of Internet connectivity.

Service Update R8: CRM Anywhere con Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Reply

Oggi Microsoft ha reso pubbliche le novità della prossima Service Update di Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011, denominata R8.

La disponibilità dell R8 è attesa per il Q2 2012 ed è costituita da sei aree d’intervento: Mobility, Browser Flexibility, Social, Industry Templates, SQL Server 2012, Certifications.

Mobility
Microsoft lancerà un nuovo prodotto, Microsoft Dynamics CRM Mobile, il quale consentirà l’accesso a qualsiasi modello di distribuzione Online, Partner Hosted ed On-Premise da un massimo di tre dispositivi per ciascun utente. Si tratterà di un client nativo, di conseguenza, con funzionalità offline, su tutte le principali piattaforme: Windows Phone 7.5, iPhone & iPad, Android, BlackBerry. Allo stato attuale non ho conoscenza del modello di licensing.

Browser Flexibility
Sarà possibile accedere a Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 tramite  I seguenti Internet Bowser:  Internet Explorer 7 o successivi su Windows 7, Vista e XP; Safari 5.1.1 o successivi su Mac OS-X or iOS5 ;Firefox 6 o successivi su Windows 7, Vista e XP o Mac OS-X or iOS5; Chrome 13 osuccessivi su Windows 7, Vista and XP.

Activity Feed Enhancements
Con la Service Update R7 di l Novembre 2011, Microsoft ha introdotto funzionalità di Social Enterprise all’interno della piattaforma XRM.
Con la Service Update R8 verranno introdotti una serie di miglioramenti alle funzionalità come ad esempio:  like/dislike, enhanced filtering (e.g. @me, types of records I follow, record views), and an updated mobile activity feeds client for Windows Phone 7.5.

Industry Templates
Grazie al continuo lavoro dei partners Microsoft ed al suo gruppo di consulenza, il Dynamics Labs rilascerà una serie di template verticali, per specifiche esigenze di mercato. I templates saranno messi a disposizione sul MArketplace. I primi templates saranno:  Wealth Management, Non-Profit, Health Sales Plans, Relationship Management for Health.
I templates includeranno: data model, personalizzazioni, dashboard, workflow e dati di esempio.

SQL Server 2012
La prossima Service Release sarà certificata e supportata su Microsoft SQL Server 2012. I vantaggi del passaggio ad SQL 2012 sono: migliorate prestazioni, migliorato sistema di recovery, nuovi strumenti di Business Intelligence (“Crescent”) , pre-defined Power Pivot models, Power View reports, and time-animated reports.

Certifications
La futura Service Release risponde alle seguenti certificazioni: ISO27001, SAS 70 Type II, SOX, SSAE 16 SOC1, Safe Harbor, Data Processing Agreement, EU Model Clauses and HIPAA compliance (supported through Business Partner Agreements).
